Set strategy and budget for destination marketing and investment attraction.

Rebrand Prince Edward County and develop public and media relations campaigns to support destination marketing and investment attraction.

ACTION

Led the rebrand with a stakeholder advisory committee and co-authored the Brand Manual in parallel to developing a focused PR and media campaign to support the rebrand.

RESULTS

Increased annual visitation 100% (500K to over 1M), establishing PEC as a global destination of choice with national and international media outlets. Prince Edward County was the only Canadian destination named in ‘Best Places to Travel in 2015’ by Travel and Leisure Magazine, published by Time Inc. The County ranked 10th in the list which included destinations such as Maui, Rotterdam, Sweden, and Las Vegas.
